Joyous Day came from wanting a gift that felt like good news arriving at the door, basket and all. Iris brings the drama, the kale keeps it from feeling too sweet, and the butterfly on the handle turns it into a small keepsake rather than just flowers. This is one of our mixed arrangements, so here's what fills the basket, the little details that set it apart, and how delivery works.

Iris, Carnations and Daisies: Purple-blue iris leads the mix, carnations and daisies round it out, and kale adds an unexpected bit of texture near the base. Everything's gathered in a basket with a handle, finished with a small butterfly accent, a lighter take than our usual vase flower arrangements.

Purple, Blue and Soft Accents: Expect deep purple-blue from the iris against softer, lighter tones from the carnations and daisies. The kale keeps the palette from feeling too sweet, more textured than most floral arrangements built around a single bloom.

Three Sizes for This Basket: Standard fills the basket nicely on its own; Deluxe and Premium add more stems for a fuller look and a bigger gesture, the same way size works across our other floral arrangements.

Who Sends Joyous Day: This one works all year long as a just-because gift, a coworker thank-you, or a small pick-me-up for loved ones having a rough week, more casual than most of our other flower arrangements. Looking After These Fresh Flowers in Their Basket: Check the water level in the basket's liner every day or two, keep it out of direct sun, and remove any spent blooms as you see them to keep the fresh flowers looking their best. Cared for this way, it should reward you with close to a week of lasting beauty.

Same Day Flower Delivery to Your Door: Joyous Day generally arrives the same day you order, provided it's in by 2 PM in the recipient's time zone, or noon on Sundays, with coverage across most areas nationwide.

• Refresh the vase with cool, clean water daily.
• Keep the arrangement away from direct sun, drafts, and ripening fruit.

• Iris can be temperamental depending on the week.
• If ours isn't blooming true, we'll substitute a flower of equal or greater value and keep the basket looking the way it's meant to, since seasonal flowers don't always cooperate on a fixed schedule.

Does every size include the butterfly accent?

Yes, the butterfly on the handle is part of the standard design across Standard, Deluxe and Premium, not an add-on.

Is this a basket or a vase arrangement?

It's a basket with a liner inside, so there's no vase to deal with. Just check the water level every day or two the way you would with a vase.
