Tropical Paradise Birds of Paradise Rustic Basket

This basket started as a request for something less like a standard sympathy piece, more like a nod to someone who loved travel. Bird of paradise carries that feeling on its own, so we built the rest of the basket to support it, not compete with it.

This basket trades formal for rustic, and most questions families ask come down to size and timing.

What Fills This Funeral Flower Basket: Bird of paradise anchors the design, joined by orange roses, orchids, and smaller accent blooms tucked into green foliage. The wicker basket is part of the look, not hidden underneath the way some floor baskets are.

Bold, Warm Color: Orange and warm tropical tones lead here, a departure from the pale palette most sympathy arrangements default to. Families who want something more personal than a traditional service color tend to choose this one.

Standard, Deluxe, and Premium: Premium carries the most stems, the fullest look, and the highest price; Standard the fewest, with Deluxe in between. The basket itself and the flower selection stay the same across all three, only the volume changes.

When Coworkers or Friends Send This: This basket works well as a group gift, something coworkers or friends chip in on to express condolences. It suits a wake, a viewing, or a graveside service equally well.

Delivery Timing: Add the service date and the funeral home's name at checkout, and our team coordinates delivery so the basket arrives with time to spare, in most areas nationwide.

• These arrangements need no water once they arrive.
• The foliage and foam base underneath hold everything fresh through the service.
• Before the Service: Keep the basket out of direct heat or sun if there's a gap of a few hours before it needs to be in place.
• Outdoor or Graveside Use: The rustic basket holds up fine outdoors among mourners, though a hot, sunny afternoon will shorten how long the color lasts.

• If a particular bloom is out of season, our designers substitute one of equal or greater value while keeping the same warm, rustic character as an honor to the deceased.

What flowers are in this basket?

Bird of paradise, orange roses, and orchids lead as fresh flowers, with smaller accent blooms and foliage filling it out.

How is a floor basket different from a casket spray?

A floor basket stands on its own near the casket, while a casket spray sits across the top of it.

Can a group split the cost of one basket?

Yes, this is a common choice for coworkers or friends sending one meaningful piece rather than several smaller ones.

What's the difference between the three sizes?

Premium and Deluxe add more stems and a fuller look; Standard is the more modest option. All three keep the same flowers and basket style.

Will this reach the funeral home on time?

Add the service date and time at checkout and our team plans delivery around it, so the basket is in place before guests arrive.

Does this basket hold up for an outdoor service?

Yes, it travels well to a graveside service or the cemetery, though we'd suggest keeping it out of strong sun to help the color last.
