We wanted a softer alternative to a bolder color pairing, something for a family that wanted the flowers to feel gentle rather than symbolic of any one thing. Lavender and white blend into each other in a way bold color pairings don't, and that quietness felt right. It's a gentle way to honor a life and offer comfort to friends and family finding their way through loss.

Sizing and delivery notes for this arrangement, covered next.

What's Included: Lavender roses, alstroemeria, and carnations join white roses and snapdragons in a clear glass cylinder lined with a Ti leaf ribbon. It's fully arranged before it goes out, ready to display the moment it arrives.

Why We Choose White Roses for This Two-Tone Palette: Lavender and white sit close together on the color wheel, so the effect reads as gentle rather than a bold contrast. It's a quieter option than a bolder color pairing.

Sizing: You can order this in Small, Medium, or Large; larger sizes simply mean more stems in the same lavender and white mix.

Why Families Choose This Design: This piece works especially well sent to a home, since the cylinder vase is designed to sit on a table rather than stand upright. It's also a fitting gift from a group of coworkers or friends.

If a Bloom Isn't Available: Lavender and white varieties shift with the season; when one is limited, our florists bring in a comparable soft-toned bloom so the gentle balance of the design holds.

Delivering Vase Arrangements Nationwide: This piece typically reaches homes and funeral homes nationwide the same day, as long as the order comes in by 2 PM Monday to Friday or 12:45 PM Saturday in the recipient's time zone. Share the address and timing at checkout.

• These colors last through the week with a water change and fresh trim every few days, kept clear of direct sun and heating vents.

• Our designers may substitute stems of equal or greater value to guarantee freshness and fullness; the overall look and color palette of the design is always preserved.

How is this different from your blue and white version?

Lavender and white sit closer together in tone, so this one reads softer and more blended than a bolder contrast.

Is this sympathy bouquet meant for a home or a service?

Most families send it to a home, since it's designed to sit on a table. It also suits a smaller, quieter service.

What's a good note to write for one of our sympathy gifts?

A brief, heartfelt line usually works, and keeping it simple is fine too. Something nice like 'with deepest sympathy' or simply 'thinking of you' both read well and convey plenty. We can help with wording if needed.

Do most families send sympathy flowers before or after the service?

Both happen often. Some like flowers to arrive before the funeral as a show of support for the family; others send them directly to the house afterward, as a quieter gesture of care and compassion.
