Timeless Traditions: Red Carnations Mache

Timeless Traditions started with a request for something bold instead of pastel, carrying weight after a death in the family. Red carnations do that without feeling showy. It's one of the arrangements our designers reach for when a family wants to mark a life worth this kind of celebration.

What fills this basket, its sizes, and how delivery and care work before the service.

What's Included in This Funeral Flower Basket: Red carnations and fuji mums arrive as fresh flowers, filling this basket in a full, traditional shape. Every stem stands ready the moment it arrives.

Colors for This Design: Deep red flowers carry this design against green foliage, a bold choice meant to feel warm rather than somber. It's a traditional pairing for a service that calls for something substantial.

Sizes for This Floor Basket: Premium sits at the highest price point and carries the fullest look; Deluxe follows with slightly fewer stems; Standard keeps the count modest and gentler on price. All three baskets share the same shape and color.

Occasions for This Sympathy Basket: This basket suits an indoor viewing, a wake, or a graveside service, and works well as a shared gift from coworkers or family members marking a life. Many families choose it as one of the popular choices for a sympathy gift, alongside more traditional sympathy arrangements.

Delivery for the Service: We deliver this basket timed around the service, coordinating with funeral services on tight timelines. Add the service hour at checkout so it lands before guests arrive.

• Unlike live plants, these arrangements need no water once they arrive, and the color holds through the service.
• Care Before the Service: Most funeral homes keep this basket shaded until it's carried in for the viewing.
• Care During an Outdoor Service: This basket holds up well for a short graveside gathering surrounded by mourners, though direct sun will shorten how long the color lasts.

• When a bloom is out of season, our designers swap in one of equal or greater value, so the basket stands as an honor to the deceased, the red-and-green look intact.

What flowers does this floor basket include?

Red carnations and fuji mums fill this basket with fresh flowers in a classic shape. Exact stems can vary a little by season.

What's the difference between a floor basket and a spray?

A floor basket stands on its own near the casket, while a spray sits directly on top of it. Many families pair this basket with casket sprays or other items for a fuller tribute.

Can several coworkers go in on one order together?

Yes. A group can send one shared basket instead of several smaller pieces, a way for coworkers to express sympathy together and represent the whole office or team.

What sets the three sizes apart?

Premium and Deluxe carry more stems for fuller baskets, while Standard trims the count for a gentler price.

Will this reach the funeral home on time?

Yes. List the service hour at checkout so our drivers can route it to arrive on time, whether that's a viewing or the cemetery.

Is this basket suited to an outdoor service?

Yes, arrangements like this one hold up for a graveside service just as well as an indoor viewing.
