Timeless Traditions Standing Spray Red

Some services call for a fuller, more traditional arrangement, a problem this design solves by pairing red carnations with real foliage instead of leaving them to stand alone. The green adds scale that reads well from across a room. It's the spray families reach for when they want to show sympathy and compassion in something substantial. Some families ask for this fuller, greener look because it reminds them of services from years past, and that still means a great deal.

A look at what goes into this spray, its sizes, and how delivery works.

What Goes Into This Standing Spray for Funeral Services: Red carnations, fresh foliage, and baby's breath fill out this floral arrangement on the easel for a full, traditional look. The green foliage adds structure that flowers alone wouldn't have. Our designers select and trim each stem by hand so the shape reads well up close and from every angle.

Red Carnation Color Palette: Red carries the weight of the arrangement, grounded by green foliage and softened by the baby's breath. It's a traditional combination, the kind most people picture when they think of a funeral spray. Deep red like this has marked services for generations, long before pastel became common.

Standing Sprays: Standard, Deluxe and Premium Sizes: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium stand on the same easel, with more stems filling the arrangement at larger sizes. We offer all three at a different price point to help you decide. Standard fits a smaller room; Premium works well for a variety of larger services.

When to Send This Spray: This spray suits a funeral or a visitation, typically sent by coworkers, friends, or extended family standing alongside the immediate household to offer heartfelt condolences. Its size makes it easy to choose for one substantial arrangement, a gesture that's often deeply appreciated.

Delivery to the Funeral Home: Same-day delivery is available in most areas nationwide for orders placed by 2 PM Monday to Friday or 12:45 PM Saturday in the recipient's time zone. It travels upright and ready to display, and we confirm timing with the funeral home to ensure it lands on time. We recommend ordering a day ahead, though same-day requests for funeral flowers are handled often.

• Little upkeep is needed for funeral sprays like this one.
• Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heating vents, and check that the base stays damp through the day.
• For an outdoor service, give the easel space on level ground so it doesn't shift in the wind.

• If a particular stem isn't available, our designers reach for one of equal or greater value while keeping the red and green balance true to what's pictured, so you won't find a mismatched look.
• The overall arrangement stays consistent whether or not the exact stems match the photo.

How does a standing spray differ from a funeral wreath?

A funeral wreath is round; this standing spray is taller and narrower, built to stand beside the casket or near the entrance instead. Both mark a service: two types of tribute, one set low, one standing upright.

Is same-day delivery available for a service today?

In most areas, yes, if the order is placed by 2 PM Monday to Friday or 12:45 PM Saturday in the recipient's time zone. We'll confirm timing with the funeral home so it arrives before the service starts. Same-day orders are common during a busy week, so call if the timing feels tight or you need help deciding what to order.
